About Us

Discover the Heart of Our Practice

The Spectrum Journey was created to support parents who are facing uncertainty, seeking answers or trying to navigate life after their child receives a diagnosis.

This is a place for practical guidance,
honest conversations and hope.

Hello, I'm Madonna

I am a single mother of two neurodivergent sons. For more than 20 years, I have been learning, advocating, researching and finding ways to help my boys receive the support they need.

My journey has included ADHD, OCD, autism, education challenges, appointments, support services, NDIS applications, plan reviews and the ongoing work of helping my children build greater independence.

Like many parents, I did not begin this journey with a clear map.

I learned by asking questions, making mistakes, doing extensive research, speaking with professionals and continuing to advocate when the process became difficult.

Over time, other parents began asking me for guidance because they knew I understood both the systems and the emotional reality behind them.

That is why I created The Spectrum Journey.

I want parents to have someone they can speak to who understands the worry, the exhaustion and the feeling that you are expected to become an expert overnight.

I cannot promise that every part of the journey will be easy. I can help you feel more informed, prepared and supported as you take the next step.
